Trip up Wallaman Falls road today failed to locate rarities but added to Pale-yellow Robin (Tregellasia capito) collection.
Also got close to Macleay's Honeyeater (Xanthotis macleayanus), without any luck in the pose.

G'day Tony,
'...failed to locate rarities ...'. Pale Yellow Robins and Macleay's Honeyeaters are pretty rare down here. Pizzey says the Macleay's is common, sedentary, etc but gee, it doesn't have a huge range!
Love the robin shots.
Regards,
Gouldiae.
Great pics tony, I've just learned about your site when Claire of Lakwatsera De Primera posted about your hobby, when she met you in the Tytu's wetlands. You've got amazing photos, very lovely! =)
Hi Gouldiae: MHEs much noisier and numerous in higher country than the few I more commonly see in Tyto. I also think the robins may possibly be examples from both races, but not expert enough for surety.
Gidday isp101: Thanks for praise.
nice of Claire to post. I can't be sure of my memory of her since I don't think we talked about her blog and I'm a shocker for forgetting both faces and names.
