Cockatoos after Yasi blasts tree

Red-tailed Black Cockatoos in blasted Indian almond hours after Cyclone Yasi blasted through Ingham. Probably be some time before small flocks return to the area. No personal poignancy to match this, thankfully..

Very sad isn't it? Will improve in time. Not looking forward to seeing Wallaman and Broadwater. Maybe imagination is worse than reality.

Lots of damage to that tree! I wonder where the cockatoos hid out during the storm?
