Camera's still not low enough! But it's about the best my body and gear can manage. No time for 'If at first ... ' so another challenge put aside.

Great shots, Tony.
I have a mental image of a large Saltie lying out there somewhere, under the water-weed, sizing you up.
Makes dodging Leeches sound tame by comparison.
Cheers
Denis
Now you've mentioned it, Denis, I'm glad the last shot in the sequence wasn't an out of focus snout covered in duckweed!
Hope you don't get too wet over the weekend, Tony. Fingers crossed that Anthony heads somewhere else. (Apologies to those who live Somewhere Else.)
Hi Denis, Bronwen: Salties not allowed in the pool, coz the warning sign is over at the main lagoon. And salties always play fair. Unlike cyclones. Anthony (give a dog ... ) looks on course for well south of Ingham so it's likely we'll miss worst of wind and rain. Caravan's chained down. Nothing to do but wait and see.
Fantastic images Tony! I didn't realise you got Crocs where you are!!
It's a good shot. Like the bottom photo.
Hi Mark: More claimed sightings than actual crocs, but they're in or have been in most pools around here.
Hi Andy: I do too. Tried using live view to get handheld camera even lower to water level, but AF wasn't up to all the unsteadiness.
