Cassowary paddle takes in mud pie

Toddled off to Wallaman Falls today and found Southern Cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) paddling in a mud puddle.
Showing off killer profile.
Showing off killer inside toe.
Bit of a cough or sneeze.
And finishing off with a nice bite of clay (known to counter toxins/deficiencies in diet).

fabulous photos and sighting. I loved the angle that you have taken them - certainly a different view than the usual. What a character this one looks like.
