What's on the morning menu?
Snail for White-browed Crake (Amaurornis cinerea).
Stillborn katydid(?) for Macleay's Honeyeater (Xanthotis macleayanus)
Red Tie Bush (Wikstroemia indica) fruit for Brown Cuckoo-Dove (Macropygia amboinensis)
And a feast in bulk, insects for the Cattle Egrets and the cane for us.

I was trying to work out what species of snail that crake is about to nom on, but I've given up. So, nice pics! Love the slightly manic cuckoo-dove.
I'd climb into the tertiary treatment pond and scour the Salvinia for more samples - if I were snail and not Tyto. WBC doesn't care, so long as they keep coming for breakfast.
