Just the present for a birding boy, though asking for its presence is a tall order.
And it didn't really want to play very much at all. But that'll do me. Thanks, Santa! And Merry Xmas faithful followers.

A very nice Christmas present indeed! And nice photos as per usual!
All we've been brought down here is the remnants of a tropical cyclone which brought 5 inches of rain overnight and more today! It doesn't look like much Christmas cheer for tomorrow!
Well Tony,
Santa must have thought you were "good" or else you are a good actor.
.
Enjoy the New Year.
.
Keep your head down in the next cyclone, if it comes your way.
I suppose, given your location, you also need to keep your head up (out of water).
.
Best wishes.
Denis
Hi Mick: Sorry about the rain, but let's hope that's all the cyclones deliver on us this season.
Hi Denis: Acting well enough to trick Santa! He always knows who's been naughty and nice. I'll keep a sharp head on my shoulders and you keep up the lively recovery. Cheers.
Santa certainly picked out just the right present for you, Tony. I hope there are a few more under the Tyto tree. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
And a very fruitful festive season to you, Bronwyn.
Gidday Andy: All the best for 2012. It's hitting 34C here by 10am these days, bit warmer, I guess, than your temps?
G'day Tony,
Best wishes to you too. Thanks for all the GREAT reports through 2011 - love your work. You certainly reside in bird-central up there.
Regards,
Gouldiae.
