Very arty photos today. I hadn't realised that was what the air new Zealand logo was based on.
Lovely unfurling fern photos. Beautiful light!
Very nice patterns of ferns - but not quite as beautiful as I remember the silver ferns.
Mosura: I almost had arty in caption but fear its rhyming companion.
Jenny: Thanks. It's easier getting up with the soft, warm sun these days.
Mick: Nothing beats the silver fern (bar Oz netball), does it?
Hi Tony
I was expecting a furled tree Fern frond, which has that look of the Shepherd's Crook (my only Kiwi comment, I promise).
I loved the coloured leaves on the pool. People think that evergreen trees do not drop their leaves. No. They lose their leaves all the time - as your photo shows - beautifully.
Denis
beautiful set of photos Tony, you've got a good eye.
Denis: Ta. Didn't do the leaves full justice. I'll be having another go at them.
Duncan: Too kind. My eye sees what's there. I envy those whose talent uncovers what others couldn't see.
Excellent images, Tony. Hope the Kingfishers come in for you.
