It's excellent. I was reminded by spending last night at Kingfisher Park in Julatten and looking at Keith Fisher's blog.

I have an article in yesterday's Cairns Post in a column called Soapbox. Go to www.cairns.com.au/opinion for a read. It is promoting a Cairns Wetlands Park at East Trinity on the other side of Trinity Inlet. Make a comment on the blog if you like the sound of the idea.

Cheers, Denis WallsDenis Wallshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10424266048876300613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3273239276262782106.post-27026560073588135952009-07-17T15:06:07.404+10:002009-07-17T15:06:07.404+10:00Thanks all. They're wonderful little birds to watch and I love looking at your photos Tony.
We're gradually improving/diversifying the habitat around our ponds to try and encourage finch visitation. So far we have only recorded Chestnut-breasted and Nutmeg Mannikin but I live in hope.
Cheers
BarbaraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3273239276262782106.post-75761067647445948072009-07-17T08:48:13.494+10:002009-07-17T08:48:13.494+10:00G'day Tony,
